Hi,
Just fitted restrictors to my ZX6R, got them in ok, between the inlet rubbers and the carbs but now the bike doesnt want to start and when it does it keeps cutting out if I dont rev it. Anyone know why this might be!!? Thanks for any help!

As others have said your carbs probably havent seated back into the manifold rubbers properly.

If he hadnt done that, surely there would be fuel pissing everywhere...

Another thing you might want to check is that your wires and cables are all connected up properly, you havent left anything off and havent got any lines trapped when putting the carbs and tank back on Thumbs Up

He more than likely turned the tap to off so no. He might have forgotten to turn it back on.

Also another thing to check is the coil connections. I would bet its the way the carbs have been put on though.

My VFR400 needed the carbs completely set up from scratch when it was restricted.

When I derestricted it, it ran like a pig unti I had it serviced properly, where the carbs were balanced and set up again.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
