Archery

Pistol shooting

cooking cake decorating

sky diving

that sky diving but not falling sport paragliding , where you chuck yourself off a mountain sans engine and hope and pray the wind and thermals keep you up (cities should be great but are generally no fly zones).

Midnight club (illegal street racing)

The hobby will be dependant(sp) on the person. If she is someone who is fairly driven and able to work well alone then anything goes. If she prefer's the company of other's, whether to spur her on or just for the social aspect, then something which involves a group, in which case go to your local community college and have a look.

She asked me on msn earlier. She said she was bored and asked what could she do to pass the time. She wasn't that impressed when I suggested she could flick her bean Laughing Shocked

Edit/ She is kinda musical (sometimes) maybe guitar or piano, either way I could teach/help her if she wanted.

So where do your mates figure in your life?

I take it, your quite young...... you should be out and about, not whinging about being bored. If your bored now..... wait till you have kids etc, then your wings will be clipped .............

I used to make airfix, model railway, play guitar (still do) tried a band at one point.

drinking beer and getting wasted is a good hobbie for the weekends.

Actually, I heard it's a really good way to exercise. Famous women do it for fun and to keep fit, I wanted to but there's nowhere nearby that does it here.
You could always try swimming or something, I enjoy a good swim but never have much time. Again, its really good for you, its like exercise but doesn't feel as tiring and boring!
Maybe you could take up a martial art? Or a teach yourself at home college/university course for something unusual or that you've had an interest for? A woman on my course at uni is a retired teacher who's always been interested in Classics, so just goes for fun. I'll probably do something along those lines when I'm done with mine, but I'm a compulsive leaner.

I have to agree with Liz.

If I want to relax or fill an odd moment when I don't have the energy to go running/riding/gardening/etc. Reading can open lots of doors to new hobbies either by learning or by inspiring ideas. It's also cheap, especially if you go and join your local library.
