If you're very quick there is till 1 place at next Thursdays Chequered-Flag day. Aimed at novice/inters its a full day with 1 tutor to 5 riders and is only £69 for the whole day.

I'm going Very Happy

There are also 1 or 2 companies doing evenings specifically for novices for about £50. I did one with Focussed Events earlier in the year and am well and truly hooked now. It's a great way to ease your way into track riding if your nervous about going on your own for the first time. They are very unintimidating Thumbs Up

Cheers, I think I might give the novice evening event a go first to see if I enjoy it, would like to do the whole day but dont have the funds at this moment (£9 short).

Is there anything in particular I need other than my driving licence and leathers (maybe a stiff drink Laughing)?

Not correct from my experience. Did a brands evening 2 days ago and there were 2 groups. One was novice/intermediate, the other was intermediate/fast. Over half the first group had never done a trackday before and were very slow.
