Just reading BWFC's thread re a potential virus, and thought I'd do the msconfig thing and have a look as my pc often runs very slow too, even when I have no apps open.

I spotted this:

"nwiz.exe/keepquiet/keeploaded/nodetect"

which looks well dodgy, is it?

Also spotted "ALCMNTR.EXE" and a couple of rundll.32 things.

Do I panic now?

Part of nVidia as said.

You can safely turn it off from starting up.

Also switch off nview and nvpanel (or it's caled something like that Thumbs Up)
