i cant seem to get it to work it keeps saying i.p adress failed this
is haw its connected:

What cables are you using? I think it should be a patch between modem and pc then a crossover between pc and xbox.

Thats how mines set up but i use free online servers, not XBL.

Yeah if you are connecting your XBOX directly to your PC you will need a crossover cable.

You will also need to set-up internet connection sharing (ICS) on the PC, and having it running when you wish to use XBL.

Personally i would recomend after the hassle i had of setting up ICS for my xbox i would buy a adsl modem router and plug the xbox straight into that, worked first time

Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the network card that's connected to your Xbox 360.
