Which bike can I get?

Hi there,
im thinking of getting a 'new' more like second hand bike. Mi limit is £1000 for 125. any suggestions?, want some thing with good acceleration and fast.

Two Stroke is the way to go.

something 2 stroke then

an older NSR125 perhaps? that said 2 smokes trade for more than the value they are really worth due to demand

Yes I know, some one that I know of got an nsr 2003 for £2500......Which is quite high

i just bought an 03 nsr, £840

it needs new tyres however, but that will only bring the cost up to around a grand, so not bad going i think.

edit: forgot to add apart from the tyres its basically perfect

7300, the guy sold it on ebay as he wasnt using it and he just wanted rid of it.

it runs beautifully, but there is no tread on the tyres at all so im not even gonna risk using them. so im going to my bike dealer tomorrow (on my ped sadly ) and then im gonna give it a thorough clean, and may even put up some photos

Mines higher mileage and has slight cosmetic damage....and i thought i got a bargain!

ow that sounded nasty, hope mine will live till friday (still owe my dad some money so need that ped sold)

guy also threw in a leather jacket, a bit old but still cool and fits me well

I'll get it cleaned tomorrow and will post up pics when i find my camera.

edit: and mine was beyond a bargin, i cant help but feel like i ripped the guy off

ive just picked up a '99 rs125 with 12 months mot for 900 quid, so the bargains are out there

i picked up a uk/mph 96 cagiva mito with 9200 miles on the clock for £110 accident damaged

tho i have spend money on new fairings , new piston and barrel and a gearbox overhaul

this looks like a very good bike, doesnt seem to have dropped try watching it?

just search about ebay you will find bargins, i did and so have other people i know.

also the ped has lasted, its all under cover and now its waiting to be sold. Ive cleaned my nsr up just need to do the fairing pannels now, and then fit my new tyres (come tomorrow yay)
