Got up this morning and got the NSR125 insured.

Unfortunatly the biker who was going to take me out is in a wheelchair (non bike related Laughing) so i decided to go it alone.

Got up to the local car park, practiced pulling off a couple of times, no problem.

I then got bored and decided to get o the road.

ITS SO MUCH EASIER THAN I THOUGHT!!!

Stalled abot 4 times in about 6 hours so quite pleased (however one was on a huge roundabout....embarrassing and dangerous!)

It's really hard to get back into neutral after a long ride i found, not sure why?

Also, sometimes the bikes in neutral and the light doesn't come on?

Anyway, all in all not too bad, any tips on how to make pulling off smooth?

Cheers

EDIT: Forgot the mention, say i messed up pulling off so pull the clutch back in, i'll slowly release it again and the revs would just bog down and stop. Flooding the carb maybe?

Hold the biting point for longer.

Clutch control gets alot easier after the first few days, stalled my own bikes once each on the first days ive had them, stalled plenty of time on the first 2 days of my training. Thumbs Up

This is why it is recommended not to rely solely on the neutral light. It could be a lot worse if your bike was in gear even though your neutral light was on.

Neutral lights lie. Try getting into neutral whilst rolling, it's a bit easier than when stood still.

It's good practise to change down into first gear before you come to a stop. However, there will be times when you can't do this, so you'll find that holding the clutch in whilst simultaneously repeatedly selecting the gear you want and rolling the bike back and forth with your leg muscles will make it a lot easier.
