Just wondered what the best tyres are for it? Not for me but a friend who has recently bought one. Oh and it's just a rear that he needs.

Hey,

I've always bought Bridgestone BT45's for all my bikes. There a great tyre. Loads of grip even in the wet.

Cheers,
Shaun

If you want decent grip and a tyre that will last more than a summer go for BT014's.

Thanks for the speedy replys. From a little wider research I've found that the bt96's are supposed to be good and I've found a place where they sell them in the right size for £70 (in the clearance section Thumbs Up ) before I tell him to go ahead though, it's a ZR rating tyre, does it matter if the tyre rating is over kill for the bike? (I doubt very much that it will do 150mph! Laughing )
