I have such little enthusiasm over football that i've volunteered to work the 9th July (World cup final day) in exchange for the 2nd so me and the lads can have a Moto GP party with beer and Ginsters pasties round at mine for the Donnington GP..

Cue all the closet ' wooly woofters' who like watching men playing with their balls.

Ohhhh how i hate the shite, i'd rather ride a Yamaha than watch that crap.

Give it a week untill England are knocked out then all the people who suddenly decided they are mad for it football fans (though most off them would struggle to name 3 England players) can go back to their normal lives and stop yapping about it.

I enjoy the competition and will watch the games if England make it through the group, what I can't stand is having it shoved down our throats and up our arses for the 3 months preceeding it. The only advantage to it is that it's overshadowed Big Brother brilliantly.

The game is such an issue for so many people thats its laughable.

Peoples lives revolve around it, i work 100 yards from Sports City, Man City's new ground and on match days all the 'knuckle draggers' are there queing up to get in like lambs to the slaughter.

A sea of 'retard knuckle draggers' chanting in the stands, all there to watch other men in shorts kiss each other..

Each to our own eh, at least i get a good OT payment when the 'knuckle draggers' come to town.

The game itself is alright. You get a decent kick out of it. However, when it was just what it was, when your team won you were satisfied, and when they didn't, you were a bit pissed off.

These days, the amount of money that's going into football, especially at this time, well think of where it's needed and where it should be going, like helping people out and stuff.

I'm sick to my back teeth of the constant advertising. Even Comet Electricals have modded their adds to include the football ffs.

And the passion can get way out of hand. I'm a pussy at the best of time, but I get quite scared around my b/f when his team loses cos he gets really angry at everyone. And when they do win, he walks around as if he's personally achieved something.

That said I'll be watching the England game this Saturday. Just cos my mate gets Sky HD on Friday and I want to see if it really is that much better.

I'm sure there will be better things to show it off with like a good movie or monkeys humping or such the like, but my mate is a manic footy fan.

I like watching the 'pool plat normally & I like playing footy.


But the world cup is generally over hyped and therefore an anticlimax.
So this year I put a little bit of money on to make it worth watching.


Fair does if you hate footy, I used to as well.
