Bought a brand new bts gy 125 panther in august past for £1450, rrp on it was £1750 and this is what I was going to pay a month earlier, when I turned up to buy hed dropped the price. He told me a few weeks ago that hed give me £1000 back on a trade in, I called him today about trading in for a Suzuki 650 dr hes got sitting at £2850. now he recons all he can do is give me £650 for my gy.
Ive not sat my test etc yet and the bike details are currently:
Just under 1 year old (1 in august)
600 miles (under 1000 when selling guestimate)
full years tax (when selling)
full service (when selling)
alarm, remote start, immobiliser
mint condition
all I have done is add a smaller sprocket and a top box
whats a fair price to ask for this in say autotrader or local papers? They can be bought brand new, 3 months parts warranty, no tax or reg plate for £680 not including vat or delivery, cheapest quote I got delivered and assembled was £1180. direct from factory in fife scotland.
Don’t know what its worth but I recon more than £650
Any help peeps?
Cheers
Steve

sell privately , 125s are in higher demand than other bikes due to lots of learners , there were bloody ancient cgs on ebay when I was a learner for about £1000 and those were dogs.
once you pass though bikes above 125cc are dirt cheap , shite I keep seeing lots of bandits and fazers for well under a grand. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
