What worked for me is to treat everything as a separate test, i.e...

Prepare yourself for CBT, think nothing else except road signs, road awareness, how to start the bike, how to change gear, how to brake and stop safely.

You need to do your theory test before mod1 (a series of manouvres in the car park) so again, concentrate solely on the theory leading up to this - buy the CD Rom / DVD from your training school or e-bay and practice practice practice!!

Mod 1 can be tricky but In the training days leading up to it I concentrated more on the manouvres than I did the road riding, and, the good thing about it is you know exactly what you're gonna get so at night sit with your eyes closed and visualise the course, it never changes.

Then, once you pass this, get back onto the road riding and nail that.

This is how I did it and passed everything first time so it worked for me........ but one major thing is relax and do not put pressure on yourself by buying a bike first so you're telling yourself you have to pass!

Good luck Very Happy
