Can't get cursor into fields on web pages

I can click into address bar and the Yahoo search function which is on the tool bar. When I get to an actual site, my cursor won't get into the field, so I can't type passwords and that.

I've tried Internet options/advanced/restore settings, but it's a non starter. Any ideas?

Cheers

Harold_Shand's theory might be the best explanation.

Is it on all pages (even ones you know work) ?

There is a setting on the form box to allow some boxes to be 'read only' which would stop you typing in them.

Either that or try using the tab key to get to the data entry box ?
