Its no K4 GSXR600 like my old one but hey it gets me from A to B so thats what matters

Was going to go down the supermoto route but dont feel comfartable with the service intervals and maintanance required

Belows a pic Very Happy , Only posted one because the camera battery went dead will post more once charged (2mrw)

IMO I think it looks better than the 600. It was the more aggressive looks to it like the R1.

it's still ugly

What I don't get with newer sports bikes is why the fairings slope back into the frame, onolder bikes the fairing flared out abit so you could hide your knees behind it.

And why is so much of the engine exposed?

Can't see how it would be as you've got knobbly knees sticking out the bike's sleek form.

I think it's just asthetics = sales not alot in the aerodynamics I guess they're better off with less fairing, along the though lines of less weight?

The k5 Gsxr 1000 was the first Gix to have that style body work and its still capable of 170 Wink

I dont mean the interlinked body work, the R1 was the first bike to have the flush fairings (the fairings tapper into the frame)

and 170 according to what
I've got a ibt of paper here that says me gpz does 124mph with 31.1bhp Confused

Hmmm cant find the website that has it prooven but their results had a top speed of an indicated 186MPH and it was something like 174 actual.

It will do 170mph from standing in 20.36secs and do a standing quarter in 10.05 according to SuperBike magazine Wink

Deffos going on meets and stuff when i can, im a busy quite alot so hard to find enough spare time.

As for price its your normal on the road price £7799 but I got some extras such as first service free, tail tidy, and cat 1 alarm so im happy. May not be the best deal but hey who cares lol i love it
