Right, see who can get the best lap times, we'll have a little competition Wink.

Whoever gets the best lap time, gets to pick the next track and bike.

First one:

Kawasaki ZX6R
Grand Valley East.

I'll post my time once I have a go.

I'll have to re-rent the game Wink.

So far, on my first lap I've got 1'12.047

EDIT:

We could use proof and anyone who is able (ie has digi cam, why not do it), but the thought occurs to me, why cheat? there is no prize, if you have to cheat on something like this you have issues...

Anyway i couldent wait, so i took a break from revision, went home and did about 30 laps... my best time was:

1.06.793 with the ZX6R (Road bike, not RM) on production tires... I made a couple of mistakes too, around the tight left hander before the tunnel... On that track its all about hitting the last corner before the straight full throttle without letting up... anyways

1.06.793... beat that Smile

1:11.221 I sucks, but my right analogue is constantly stuck on half accelerate which means as I'm on professional control the rear wheel keeps going mad at slower speeds lol.

Took me 30 laps to do it, but i think i can get even better, the most important part is after you cross the start finish line and come up for that first sharp right hander dont brake untill you are basically over the little hill, you need to get it right so you go really deep into the corner ( essentially in the shape of a letter A), nearly coming off the track, that way you can point the bike in the direction of the next straight and get the throttle all the way open ASAP, i find thats faster than keeping to the right hand side with half throttle and waiting untill the corner starts to open...

the other important part is the last corner, you have to hit that first apex just right and then keep the throttle pinned, dont let off, if you get it right you use ALL the track and then some, drifting out past the stripy sides of the corse to the left and then tight into the right hand bend onto the straight i find it gives you wicked speed down the finish straight...

The one thing i find about this game, generally is try not to open the throttle untill you know you wont have to release it again, full throttle that is, obveously make minor ajustments.

Also i am using standard, i dident try with pro but i can imagine alot more crashes Razz

Hope that helps, even though i shouldent be giving away my secrets for free Smile

There are no "difficulties" luke, if you want to use pro control i dont see why you cant, i use standard...

also as a side note i use the Lean In riding form, what have the rest of you that posted time used?

1:08.416, use lean in, have downgeard the bike aswell. Just keep either hitting the bump on second corner or rear wheel slides on the two really tightuns.

LOL ^^

As for downgearing wouldent that make you slower on the long straight?, i cross the finish line at just under 170 thats if i got a good run from the last corner. Anyways im off home now, do some revision and then hopefully beat my time, i know i can shave half a second or so off what i got.

Cheers.

Yeah but most of the course is all about powering out of the corners, I still get 160 on the long straight but out of the corners faster.

I shaved a couple of tenths off:

1.06.631

I think with a perfect lap, you could hit around the 1.05 mark... ile leave it now unless anyone beats that.
