I dont think you're supposed to stick cotton buds in your ear as you could damage it, nothing smaller than your little finger is what i've heard, you might have an infection if this is a recent symptom, also by poking buds in it everyday you might be causing your ear to react - see a doc, you might have 2 ears but your balance mechanism is incorporated in them, and thats quite handy for riding a 2 wheel vehicle, joking apart - see a doc

Thats the cause you muppet! Wax is produced to clean out yer lugs. Because you have a lump of plastic in there it's causing the over production. Go get it taken out FFS Rolling Eyes

My 2 1/2 year old son has potatoes growing in his his ears every single day Rolling Eyes It just appears as if by magic Thinking

BY sticking a bud into the actual ear may cause more trauma, push it deeper and promote infection, thus causing more wax.

Try using the drops for a while and hopefully it should be thinner and easer to wipe away from the ear canal, if it still persists go and see the GP (you may need them syringed Wink )

i went to the dockers when i was a kid and he had a xray done and said the only way to get it out is to operate on it and they cant garentee that my hearing wouldnt be damaged.

a couple of drips of warm olive oil at night to soften it up, then make an appointment with the nurse to get them "srynged" although it's not a srynge they use, but an ultrasonic warm water jet that breaks it up and washes it out. I had it done late last year.

Thumbs Up

You have a Lego man's head stuck inside your head!?!?! Shocked
I can't believe you didn't mention that little detail to start with.

As said above it is quite good odds that the ear is over reacting to the relatively large lump of plastic lodged in your lughole.

I can't imagine where the lego head is sitting inside your ear.
Try the warm olive oil in the ear trick, my girlfriend did this when she had and ear-ache. I was cynical but the doctor did then say it was the best thing to do.
You never know, chuck a load of oil in there, get on your bike up to 100mph and then brake hard with your head turned to the side and it might pop out. Thumbs Up

I can't believe I missed this thread Exclamation

A LEGO MAN, that's class Thumbs Up

Don't listen to ANYONE on here (apart from me obviously).

First things first, On No account let the little sod out!! The most humane thing you can do for the poor little bugger is shove a torso, and some limbs in the same ear for him, so he can finally get around after all of his motionless years.

Then, pop down to Toys 'R Us and buy him the Lego Sub as shown here...

https://technic02.hp.infoseek.co.jp/alacarte/yellowsub/yellowsub005.jpg

I'm sure we can have a BCF whip round for you.

Now, here's the tricky part. Firstly insert the instructions for the Sub up your nostril with a long hard sniff (Don't worry, Lenny Lego will have full movement by then and he'll make his way to your nasal passages to see what all the noise is). One the instructions have disappeared commence quick, rapid inhalations through either nostril whilst inserting a single Lego block from the packaging. Once all this has done little Lenny will have all the bricks AND instructions to enable him to build the above sub and travel down your spleen to your arse in order for him to make a safe and successful exit.

Hey Presto! No Lenny, No wax and a Lego Sub in your Shitter - Class Thumbs Up

Hasn't there been a movie with an identical plot?

Actually, stashing lego in the ear isn't so uncommon. Being a total prat my son did exactly the same thing. He only managed to get one of those single round bricks to go in though. Afterwards he told me that he didn't actually expect it to go in when he pushed it. When faced with logic like that I just didn't see any point in asking him what he did expect. Thankfully the doctor was able to remove my sons stash. Took a while for him to see it. I really don't think he believed what I was telling him until he saw it for himself.
I bet it took a bit of doing ramming that head in?

my mum has some sort of weird hippy alternative therapy where they put a paper cone thing in your ear, and a candle, light it and its supposed to draw out all the wax or something. I am a bit synical to be honest, but maybe worth a try if its painful.
