1st things 1st i am new to the site so hey

i have been told once your CBT runs out after the 2 years can you retake it straight away or do you have to come off the road for a year?? this is something i have been told by numerous people and just wanted to confirm

When I did mine there was a guy there taking his for the 3rd time.

He told me that he's happy with a CBT every two years (weired) so there is no break.

You can retake it straight away.

There was a short period in the 1990's where they were giving learner licences or CBT's for 2 years with a compulsory 12 months off if you didn't pass your full test before it ran out, but they changed the rules pretty quickly (quite possibly within the first 2 years of the scheme, so it never actually affected anyone).
