Hi
could any one tell me if they know an insurance company that will insure a sachs madass 50cc for a 16 year old under £200.
I have looked everywhere and just can not find any one. My brother who has a 50cc scooter has a higher insurance group than me but still gets insured for £170.
any help will be appreciated
thanks

Phone a few up and tell them white lies with regards to quotes. I done this with mce on a cbr125 1st quote was over £1500 but rang mce told them i got a quote of £330 and ended up paying £226 so ringing round should work a treat for you. Good luck.

at your age...no.

till you hit about 21, ringing around will get you a far better deal.
(it may well continue to do so after you are 21, but at least the online quotes become more reasonable)

Are you riding the Madass now?

What's it like?

Brand new / second hand?

and how much did you pay?

Cool choice Cool

My best deal on a scooter at 16 and 17 was with motorcyclesdirect.co.uk at £190

I only live in StHelens, which is far more of a shithole than southport, so they should give you a decent deal. If any of your mates are after a scooter then PM me, i've got a w-reg speedfight 2 going for £350 Thumbs Up

Blimey, wish id known that ringing round yielded better results, I just webbed it, ended up getting my TZR 50 insured in an excellent area for about £310.

Jeez!
