 |
|
Alright,
Ok I need to flog my GSXR before I finish her (unfortunately) as I need a bit spare cash...
So here's the speck:
- 2002 GSXR K2
- Rizla Body-Kit (By Dream-Machine, 2005 scheme)
- 10500 miles (clock is in KM at mo, but works out at 10500 miles)
- Yoshimura TRS (Tri-Oval), race only can (be-badged, see pics)
- Power Commander III
- Brand New tinted double-bubble screen
- Pirelli Dragon Evo Tyres, near new
- Indicator mirrors (NOT wired in yet)
- Lazer-Cut stainless heal plates / shock splash guard
- Renthal Chain and sprockets
- REAL Carbon fibre tank guard (not in pics but now fitted)
- Forks have White-Power internals
Now for the big bit:
Engine was re-built by J.D. Motorcycles in Co.Down Ireland on 10/07/2004, with the following:
- New Cams
- Skimmed Head
- Stainless Steel Valves
- Shims
- All rebuilt and set up with new PC III for cost of £1157
- I have Dino print out of 116BHP
I have had the bike out (testing) and she is wild for a 600… VERY torquey and a certain smile-producer! Excellent breaks compliment the power also.
So for the inevitable not-so-good bits:
It's a Belgium import (have Belgium V5) so needs registering. I have got the bike ready for MOT, should pass no probs, to register you need:
- MOT (will MOT on chassis number)
- Tax
- Insurance (my insurance Express, will insure a import on frame number for 2 weeks, enough time to register her)
I have called the DVLA and all you need to do is take all the docs (MOT, tax, insurance, Belgium V5 and your ID) to a local office and they will sit with you and fill in all the required docs to register.
I have also called the Inland Revenue about VAT and import taxes etc, and they advised, since it was originally bought in Belgium (Europe), no vat would need to be paid (as would have been paid on purchase) and since it was imported via Ireland, no import tax (as personal import).
So it should only cost the MOT, tax and reg fee (£35 pound I think) to fully reg her.
There is of course a couple of bits I haven’t done yet:
- Touch up tank - see pic (wasn't a drop, handle bar of other bike rubbed against it whilst in transit (van)
- Chip on rear plastic
- Hole in RH Ram-Air tube (duck tape is good for mo)
- Chips on undertray (only part I sprayed, so inevitable)
I have a full tin of colour matched paint ready for the above jobs, which is included.
So anyway price: £3500 ono
I am open to P/X as when I sell her I'm just gonna buy a cheaper bike and use the divid ends to spruce-up my Evo. But it must be a fully faired sports bike, none of the old big brutes of the early nighty’s though. Send me a PM and I'll get back to you.
Cheers,
