Really sore wrist/tendons

Just recently started putting a few more miles on the clock with my commute to work.

As a consequence am starting to get a sore left wrist. Its not from the riding position as I could rest on my wrist all day and it'd be fine. Its just operating the clutch, I don't think its an overly stiff action nor is the span all that big but bugger me it hurts.

Using ibuleve gell as a short term remedy but does anyone have any tips? Is it my action?? if there is such a thing??

Have you tried moving the clutch down a bit so your wrist doesn't have to bend so much ?
