I'm not bright enough to rig up one of them there polls, so....
Embarassed
Anyway, i'm attacking europe (france, spain & germany) this year on a K5 GSXR750, the emphasis will be on the 'sports' in 'sports touring', and may well include a trip to the 'Ring.
The question is for a 2/3 week trip would you rather wear:
1, 1 piece leathers
2, 2 piece leathers
3, Leather trousers & textile jacket
4, Textile jacket & trousers
5, Flip-flops, Rossi T-shirt and shorts

Depends how south you go. Obviosuly the more you go south, the less you like to wear. Certainly over 30c you will not want to be wearing 1 peice leathers and I am pretty certain over 35c you will want to wear nothing. When I am going to Spain/Portugal I will be wearing a jacket at the most (probably a t-shirt) with normal trousers, gloves and boots and a flip-lid. My personal choice for northern France, Germany and north coast of Spain would be two-piece leathers since you have the choice of wearing the jacket or trousers at any time of the trip.

I'd go two-piece leathers, preferably ventilated. I have wore them in 36 degree heat (jacket open etc) because of the pace we were going at. I only seriously felt the heat when we stopped and there was no shade, on the move it was ok, though obviously you need to be drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated.
