A little while ago i made a post in auntie bcf section about my g/f needing a hobby since then i orderded to small model bikes to paint and build. I built mine one day when she was at work and i was bored and she built hers at the weekend. She enjoyed painting it but didnt like glueing it all together. Ill get her colouring book next time Wink

Just wondering how many other have built bike models etc if so let see em!

i think in this case its because they are small and you have to get close.

really need a macro mode or close up mode for that sort of thing

i have a cheap digital camera that has this designated by a flower while infinity distance is designated by a mountain.

I think this is something down to focal lengths although i forget details.

A mobile camera is gonna have a lense appropriate to a more typical distance to the object. Too close and it will be out of focus.
