buy some heine gericke motorcycle cleaner, in a 5 litre bottle. put it in a spray bottle. spray on when bike is cold. leave for 30 mins, hose off. agitate stubborn parts with a pipe cleaner brush.
here's a link i found on the HG cleaner - https://home.clara.net/survivalskills/bike_cleaners.htm NOTE, that is the old stock, the new stock is orange - not yellow, thicker and twice as effective.
I use it all the time. its a doddle.
I use one of these too, very good at getting parts clean;
https://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10151&productId=196259&categoryId=31485
its a bend over double pipe cleaner stuck in a plastic handle. I pull them out of the handle, open it up and use the whole thing.
good rinse off in fresh water, then a wash with simonz shampoo which includes a wax. Once dry I cover everything in WD40 and lube the chain. Then I treat the plastics/paintwork to a 3 stage meg's treatment. polish. supe resin polish the carnuba based wax.
results are outstanding. ____________________ Benelli. Happy as a pig in cacky. |

Please don't get me started.....
Here are some of the products I use, mostly through trial and error to which are easiest to apply, give the best results for minimal effort, etc:

(Don't worry, didn't buy them all at once, I've amassed such a collection over the years I've been biking) |

Craig can I Touch your Bike.....That's Mint.....
Easiest way to Wash the bike if you need a bit of pressure is one of those Pump-Spray bottles from B&Q for Plants.....Obviously if it's caked in Shit/Mud then I'm afraid you'll have to get your hands dirty..... ____________________ Previous Bikes...Honda NSR 125 RR...Kawasaki Zephyr 550...Suzuki SV 1000 S...Yamaha FZ8...Current Bike...Suzuki GSX-R 750... |

I normaly wash the bike with a bucket of hot water and turtle car shampoo then hose off and wax the tank and solo seat with turtle car wax, I did buy a bottle of Muck off spray the other day and used it on the FX400R but it left a layer of white powder on the black steel frame and engine casings. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |

Phase 1
Water bike down with cold water
Phase2
Wash bike with bike shampoo applying Muc off on hard to clean stuff like bugs on forks and wheels.
Phase 3 (fuk da hose pip ban yo)
Rinse Bike with cold water, let it drip of for a few minutes then use a clean shammy to wipe the rest of the water off.
Phase 4
Once the bike is Fully dry, use Mr sheen or AutoGyms Instant bike shine. The bike must be waxed about once a month to keep showroom shine.
Phase 5
A soft clean cotton cloth and buff buff buff till it shines.
So there it is sports fans, how you clean a bike . ____________________ Ducati 1299 Panigale

You will set the Ducati warranty void rain alarm off by doing that. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |
