Have you got any/are you superstitious? Is there something you have to do before you go for a ride otherwise the world will end?

I have this thing about wife, family, saying "ride safely". I'm sure it's some kind of Hex (excuse me Gav). I also don't like to brag/exaggerate (too much) about what I've done on the bike, I think it's some sort of karma thing, I recon it'll all come back and bite me on the ass.

I salute at a single magpie (dunno where I picked that up) but I guess it's the "one for sorrow" thing and a "please don't bring sorrow on me" salute?!

Luckily I ain't come across one whilst riding the bike yet though!

I'm not superstitious, which is lucky - because my cats are black.

Magpies get saluted... especially when I am on my bike.

I always trust my hunches if I feel a little uneasy before a ride, or get a funny feeling during a ride and take it easy.

Otherwise, not really. Laughing

Have you never heard the rhyme?

However, this could just be due to the increasing population of magpies as they are nasty, theiving birds.

My cat is black and aparantly a black cat crossing your path is unlucky.

It was, for him.

I walked downstairs in the middle of the night, it was dark the cat came to the bottom of the stairs to greet me and he got a size 13.5 to his chelsea.
