Shocked

nicely avoided, though he should av seen the bike was going to cross his path a little earlier for the second miss.

i always say, if i have to crash, i'd at least want it on camera so i can relive it. Laughing

I think it was a case of him watching the bike and when you are fixed on something you tend to go towards it.

Unless he had really crappy tyres, I doubt it.

See the big puff of smoke - looks like it's coming from the rear tyre.
Looks like he maybe actually had a blow out or something. Or maybe locked the rear wheel up - engine braking or rear brake, but I wouldn't expect it to be so severe from that.

It does look like it goes down very quickly, which would suggest front wheel.

With half decent warm half decent tyres that should lead to a stoppy rather than sliding, unless there's some serious problems with the surface.

looks like a front end slide to me (replayed the slide a couple of times)

they have just gone over a distinctly dirty looking section of track, matbe some dirt still on his tyre, he stabs the front brake rather than progressively squezing?

Hi

Looks to me as though the back steps sideways, which does support G in that something happened at the back of the bike.

However I would think it lock seized in a straight line like that I would expect it to continue fairly straight.

Main thing that springs to mind (and I think this is not likely) is that the rider screwed up big time changing down the gearbox, somehow blipping the throttle way too much as he let the clutch out causing the front to try and overtake the rear.

All the best

Keith
