Went up on Friday, was fairly quiet. I was surprised at how easy it was to get near the pit lane etc compared to MotoGP.

For most of the morning I was stood on the bank by Sunny In, Sunny Out watching the bikes. Spent much of the lunch break wandering up and down the paddock looking at various bikes having running repairs done to them, tyres changed, the odd polish etc.

For the afternoon superbike practice session I found a spot at the end of the pit lane from where I could watch the bikes coming in and out.

Towards the end of the session I moved up to the complex and saw a familiar face.

Then loitered around at the back of the pit garages, forgot a pen though.
