I know it has felt like winter recently but nature confirmed this to me yesterday. I went out for a brief half hour ride after work while it was still dry. Got back and put the bike back in the garage and thought I'd put the cover on this time as the weather forecast isn't promising.

I tried to pick up the cover only to find that a football-sized hedgehog had made himself a home out of it in the last few days! Shocked
He had somehow shredded up the soft fleece lining as if to fluff it up to make himself really comfortable. He had then taken a huge dump 1ft away and curled up to go to sleep. I presume he thought it was time to go back into hybernation.

I checked he was alive and then just left him there, I couldn't be bothered to clean up his sh!t or catch fleas. I'm hoping summer will actually return soon and he will bugger off back to his hedge!!

They dont get out of your way on footpaths and you end up basically rolling them infront of you for 30 yards.

Lost count of the ones ive relocated from main duallies when out on walkies (mainly when trying to nail birds to be fair, you appear cute and get an excuse to ignore them for a bit... win win)
