Right, I can get a custom can made for my bike for under £100.

Slip on or bolt on?

Bike: Suzuki GSF400VM Bandit.

It's got the standard exhaust and system on it now.

Which would be easiest/cheapest and what would I have to do to sort everything out?

Cheers.

If memory serves, the Bandit 400 is a one piece system as standard, so would the OE can have to be hack sawed off?

If that's the case, a slip-on would be the tidiest/easiest to fit.

Yep it's a one piece.

After cutting the can off, would the new one just literally slip on, what else would I have to do?

You'll get a link pipe with the new can. Thumbs Up Not entirely sure how the link pipe goes on though. Laughing

Hi

Is it a complete one piece system or is there a join under the engine? If there is a join then try and keep to the stock fitting as it will make it easier to swap the stock one back on.

Failing that I think a slip on pipe will be easiest. Might be worth seeing if they can mod the stock silencer to go back on easily when required in future (MOTs and the like).

All the best

Keith

It's a complete one piece system that's been welded.

Here's a pic (I'd get a better one but lack of batteries Sad).
