How bad's the injuries? Might dent the championship standings, not enough to rule him out of racing though surely?

Not wanting to be a harbringer of doom or anything, but unlike previous champions, Rossi hasn't needed to face (m)any serious injuries throughout his career.

Is it the bikes, or doesn't he crash much because he's that good?

I think he really is that good. Look at his career so far, he crashed a few times in his first year in each class, but once he got dialled in to the bikes he hardly crashed at all

He just doesn't crash very often, look at the stats. Incredible really.

He has the top three places in "highest consecutive number of podiums" ever with 16 then 16 and then 15. He has also had 13 consecutive podiums twice, as well as 12, 11 and 10. Unbelieveably consistant, and you can't just put that down to the bike.

seems like quite a few crashes in moto gp at the moment, the biggest easily being casey stoner at mugello!!!!

crashes make the adrenaline flow but i like to see that they are ok after!!!
