Is it just the picture, or has the bottom rim got a big bit of paint missing? Confused

Infact, the the top spoke of the first one looks the same also.

That's just the reflections, retard. Laughing Wink

I like those Tatters, I might have to give mine the same treatment if they don't scrub up very well. Thinking

Just got the tyres on but the bearing l,ve been sent are the wrong size Evil or Very Mad will have to go to the bike shop in the morring, only thing l,m worried about is that l don,t have the gear to blannce the wheels but the bt014 that were on before did,nt have any weights on the rims so hopefully it will be ok.

If your fitting new tyres then there should be a dot on them, line this up with the valve. Its the lightest point of the tyre and the last couple of bikes I've done didn't need any balancing.

Marki's right, i powdercoated my wheels and had the tyres refitted and it didnt need any balancing with the dot lined up.

£86 for 2 is more than the £40 it cost me, but at least they masked your disc mount surfaces off properly Rolling Eyes took me about 2hours with a knife and some nitromors to get them to sit flush.

Powdercoating is good for taking up any wear in the cush drive too, if you can't get the sprocket carrier back in, spray the rubbers with wd40 and the sprocket carrier goes in nice.

I called in to their place a few weeks back to see about getting a kart chassis done. From the completed parts behind the counter it looks like they do a very good job.

The price for the wheels is reasonable but they wanted £140 to do my chassis Shocked Feck that. No wonder one of them has a 911 parked outside.

"FINISHED"

All finally done, was a nighmare getting the right bearings had to travel 40 miles there and back to croydon twice to get the oranigal yamaha ones which were £20 each beacsue no were sold pattern ones that fitted and they were a complete bastred to fit, then l had to take the wheels by foot 2 miles to my uncles house to use his compresser as my dad had left our on a site in france Rolling Eyes

All in all its been the most expensive one job l,ve done to a bike, looks fecking ace though Laughing Cool

Looks good, I done the same thing to my wheels last Nov. Cost quite a bit when you factor in £70 for the powder coating, £20+ for the bearings, £10 for someone to remove/refit and balance the tyres, £5 for some loc-tight, £5 for rim tape and other little bits

They do look good.
At £500 though, fook me!

Try BSL if you ever need bearings again. (quote account no. 122492 for possible discount) - stolen from visordown.
20 squid for a plain bearing is daylight robbery.

Those look mint. I had mine done at triple-s over winter, they're not cheap but they do a cracking job. Sound like you had the same problem as me with bearings. I just went into Earnshaws in huddersfield & bought the bearings they told me I needed. Rear ones were ok but front were nothing like. Looked up online and found most places selling bearings had the wrong ones listed!!
Got right ones eventually & it came to £26 for 4 bearings. (didn't do sprocket carrier.)
I also fitted new disks as well as new tyres.
Not cheap, but they looked mint!
