pop along to your local maplins and pick up a pair of bt freeway pmr446 radios and a couple of bike to bike kits, the radios are about 45 quid a pair and each helmet kit with push to talk buttons will set you back about 30 quid each the good thing about these radios is they come with a hands free wire and ear bud and can be switch to work by vox also, but on a motor way its a pain as the wind noise will keep the mic open all the time, range if your lucky about half a mile

Autocom is an excellent system pal. Get a set of ebay, use them and re sell them. They always go for good money.

You can also connect music, phone etc to the box.

Autocom again, at 100mph on the M62 I could STILL hear black knight sing, much to my annoyance.

he did say cheap didnt he?

autocom will always be the best for clear sound at almost any speed but many people forget you still need to buy the radio units and for any decent range you will need to get some thing better than pmr446 free airband, i have some bt freeways for local short range work some icoms and some heavy duty kenwood ones too but all on pmr 446. if you want decent range then a high output on a licensed frequency is needed
