just got back from a month in thailand doing all sorts (and a little more) and hired a 125 ped to get round on, pillion'd loads (usually with a skinny thai chick on the back). no road laws, 2 way traffic on 1 way streets, just aim where you want to go and off you go! No road rage, no accidents (not that i saw anyway) and no tooting of horns.. complete opposite of uk if you get the chance try it out.
Hired an R1 for a day too, £10 incl. insurance but didnt get much chance to open her up
