U Turn (no feet down)
push bike (off the bike U turn)
No skid/lock up wheel emergency stop

Confident riding
life savers for every turn / change lanes
keeping to speed limits
making good progress (not staying well below speed limits)
not falling off.

You remember your car test? Well, it's very similar to that except there's no-one sitting beside you (he's on a bike or in a car behind and speaks to you over a radio). And you do a U turn instead of a 3 point turn. There is a link here.

If you've already started riding, you must have done your CBT. You have to do a theory test too prior to the practical test.

If you treat that 125 of yours exactly like I treated mine (a stepping stone) there is no reason why you shouldnt pass.

read all the learning to ride and bike test questions/threads, never go over the speed limit (on the other hand like Itchy says, they dont like you riding wayyy under the limit either), constantly do observations, practise your emergency stops and u-turns 10 times a day every day until your test and any questions you cant find about your test, ask here. The peeps are a great help.

When you have passed then you can enjoy riding Wink

hint: as a car driver, if you cant get the hang of the emergency stop without always locking the back wheel, just use the front brake Thumbs Up

Er you might also want to get somebody to run you through the push the bike (U turn) , as its more complicated than just grabbing it and pushing it on full lock.

I can't remember what it was other than looking back and forth constantly and covering the front brake (COVER don't use as = drop) with 4 fingers.
