money transfer to another bank?

Hi i know this might sound stupidbut i need to pay some money into another bank account(loyds tsb) from my natwest bank account,can i just go into my bank with the other persons acc and sort num and transfer it from my acc to the other persons?

in theory yes, there may be a fee, also many forms of ID.


possibly a sample of your dna structure..god i hate banks.

Register for internet banking with your bank.

Then you can do it online by entering A/C number, Sort Code and persons name.

Or just to add yet another option, i always do mine over the phone! Takes 3 or 4 days to transfer though
