I bought this last night, seems like a good game, i didnt have much chance to play it but i did manage to do some licences and get to do the first race.

I have some shite blue moped thing, i am against a bloody TZR250 and i have to beat it around a track.
I had a few goes and got no where near the thing, and trust me i was hanking it. lol

Any tips, i mean, how the hell can i buy another bike?

Oh and i set my guy to go into corners how i think he should, can you fuck this up?

Thanks Wink Thumbs Up

Ok, is there any tips on the riding position I might need to know, I have set it to how I think I’d ride the bike, which is a kool thing on the game but I don’t know if it is affecting the riding too much.

Also what do you have the game set on for controls, i.e. pro, semi pro, normal?
I have it on semi pro, I didn’t know what the difference was.

There s a couple of other threads here about it, but i will try to answer some of your questions, first things first its different to GT4 in that there is no money, you dont buy any bikes...

You have to goto challenge mode (the bikes you can try and unlock in challenge mode are in 4 groups, each group unlocked by doing the next licence)... so Do as many of the licences as you can and you can get better bikes...

As for riding positions there is:
Lean In: Which maximises corner speed (i use this)
Lean out: which maximises turn in (i suppose it makes the bikes easier to get on the nice apex line, but i find i go wider on the exit with this one)
Neutral: self explanatory
Motard: Off road/Ped Boi foot out handling (use it for a laugh when stunting)

I would try learn in if you are like me, hard on accelerator, braking right up to the apex then firing it out

Standard settings means that your brakes are combined (puts them both on at the same time) and it crouches down for you on the straights, also it has traction control and other aids

Semi-Pro is (i think) some traction control but you have to do your own crouching on straights

Pro: everything off, the wheel will spin up if you give it some out of a corner lent over, The back brake and front are independant and you have to crouch yourself....

I use standard when racing for myself and pro when doing best times (on the other post) due to the women nagging me to Razz

Hope that helps.
