well, it's one of two things.

either she's faking her fear, so it's bollocks.

Alternatively, she's genuinely freaked out (well it's not entirely implausible, as such apparently idiotic fears do exist), in which case sending her to a pickle factory is like locking someone who was abused as a child in a cell with a convicted maniac rapist/paedophile/serial killer. Ah, what larks!

Given that this is taken from a US show, I'm willing to bet my left testicle it isn't real, or she would have sued them for causing psychological distress.
