Vegetarianism

Right, i've always had a distinct loathing of vegetarianism, as it is, no matter what angle you look at it, complete and utter shite.

Now, just had a minor row with a girly mate of mine who is pretty damn hot (pic here, girl on right) but i learned not long ago is a virgin because shes so religious... yet she gone round telling everyone shes a lesbian.

Now i just said i feel aneamic, she said she gets that alot too, because shes a veggie.

Then we get in this vague conversation about how vegetarianism is better etc etc.

So i linked her to this Article: Why we should force feed vegetarians lard which ive read fully and have not found a SINGLE point i disagree with.

With that in mind, and the fact i lived with about 2 vegetarians last year, and i know lots of other ones (all of which seem to be doing 'stupid' degrees, mainly psychology) id like to know if there are any on this board, what caused them to do it -ie their logic behind it-, and whether they were repeatedly dropped on their heads as babies.

nah just kidding,

they probably discovered how meat is processed/produced in this country , ie we scorn people in China for eating stuff like cats , but then we have super intensive harsh meat production in this country which is pretty bad on animal welfare which probably balances it all out.

Or a fear of whats in the meat , hormones antibiotics and all sorts of growth promotional drugs.

Not that I really care I've seen how things are made and I still eat it.

that said I don't particularly trust mystery meat , ie where on the side it just says meat , or mechanically reclaimed meat .

Bonny, I knew a girl who was vegitarian, and it was like save the animals. She dropped out of uni and ended up in a mental assaylum

So most vegitarians in the UK are not by virtue of thier religon but by
1. medical reasons (few)
2. choice (few, good ones)
3. posers (many)
4. Mad ones (avoid, however hot, this is from experience )

I'm a veggie. Always have been. I have never once told a meat eater they're wrong, that's censorship.

Vegetarians are generally nobs.

Weekend before last, i held a small bbq, a friend brought along a her friend who i hadnt met before.

She was a vege, i didnt know this.

I offered her a sausage (no, an actual sausage, not my winkle), she took it from the tongs, said 'mmmmmmm pig', threw it on the floor and shouted 'MURDERER!' at me.

She was shown the door.

Years ago I had a few friends who were vegetarian and vegan who kicked off at a BBQ. They couldn't understand why we didn't have a seperate veggie grill and a seperate vegan grill.

Last big BBQ here a few years ago the vegetarians who complained were told to shut up or leave.

Tried vegetarianism once while I was training a lot. Made me very ill. Just couldn't seem to eat enough

I treat vegetarians/vegans with the same disdain as people with phobias of buttons and such.

Except at least i can under stand the science behind their phobia.

Admittedly i dont mind veggies like you, who are polite about it, and expect to put yourself out at parties etc.

And also, most veggie girls are very attractive, as skinny runts.

However, that still doesnt escape the fact it is unhealthy, unnatural, and people usually have exact dick reasons behind it beyond the 'i like fluffy animals'.

Have a read of the article i posted in the first post, and find one point to disagree with...

Usually veggies are weak minded, over opinionated women who only get away with it because they are fit, and blokes put up with their crap for that very reason.

I always have an intense urge to slap people around the face with pork chops whenever they whinge about me eating meat.
