My little sister is after a little run-about car - fiesta/corsa type thing.

Nothing bigger than a 1.4, nice and cheap to insure.

Budget about £500, in or around Reading is good.

Anyone got anything?

How old is your sister? If she's 17 you're looking at 1.1L maximum really.

Citroen AX Spree 1.0 P-reg (97) Metallic Red.
Will take some photos tomorrow but to give you an idea of the car I came across this ad https://www.sellingcars.co.uk/carpreview.asp?carid=954.

Was looking for a bit over £500. The cars in great condition with fsh. Just one owner before me, about 60k (off the top of my head) on the clock and has been fitted with fogs and roof-rack. I'm located in Ashford, Kent. Got a new car recently which is why I'm looking to sell.

Here are the pics for the ax. Non-standard front bumper is missing the cover for the tow hook (hence the red tape) and is a solid red rather than a metallic red. The original front bumper is still available but there aren't any openings for the fogs. Exact mileage is 79k. Both MOT and tax expire in Dec '06. Has travelled abroad quite a bit on surfing trips and never had any problems.

Okay here we go...
