Look at it from their perspective, they could well be helping some amateur theif to remove a Datatool alarm from a bike he's just nicked. If you've got the alarm there then just hook it up to the battery and test the wires with a multimeter for the various functions (pulses for indicator flash, continuity between two wires for immobilising relays).

1. There is more than one Datatool alarm sytem all with their own looms.

2. You asked if we had the diagrams. We do.

3. Datatool are dealer fit only for insurance purposes.

4. Who are you?

5. The last Muz on this site tried to rip a load of people off.

Why would we teach some one we don't know how to nick our bikes? People with Datatool problems PM me and I help except when they ask how to fit or remove them.

its easy to find the wiring diagrams on the net, just search for the alarm type and add wiring diagram, just takes a bit of sense to understand them.

I would definately phone the guy up.

1: to make sure he answers (its weired he's been a member for over a year and done no business either way....maybe its me being paranoid!) and B: to see if he has full fitting instructions.

That alarm will never go on another bike.

Well it might but not even a wiring diagram is gonna help you I'm afraid.

The datatool systems aren't all they're cracked up to be. I managed to remove one in a ridiculously easy fashion. Far better to get a loudmouth and a groundhog.

Why do you think a loudmouth will be any better?

If I had fitted the alarm it would have gone off as soon as you tried to reove a seat unless you had a key fob.
