Hi All

How hot does the exhaust get on my cbr 125r?

The reason i'm asking is that i would like to cleanup my exhaust pipe as it is a bit rusty (the can is fine) and i am thinking for using this

It says 'up to 650C (1200F)', is this a high enough rating? or is there better stuff to use?

That stuff will be fine, but unless you are willing to get every last little bit of rust and contamination off the exhaust, it'll peel off in a short time. Cleaning up an old exhaust to the required level is very difficult.

A half-decent (and cheaper) solution is a quick clean up and then slap on B+Q bbq paint. Expect to have to do this every year until you replace the exhaust.
