it was bound too tho wasnt it, see my reply in the i'm sick of elite racer thread...

I wave and nod at scoot toot tooters and 125'ers and i just get blanked - or they are transfixed staring at the road 3 feet in front.

I dont, however, fucking care enough to have a long thread about it.

Lets be honest with ourselves..

Does it really make that difference if someone nods or does not nod back at you?

Will somehow your life come crashing down if that stranger on the bike ignore's you?

Some people really take this nodding business a bit tooo seriously.

Yes fair enough its polite, but its summer and I bet a vast vast majority of people out there riding about at this very second dont even know why they are being nodded at.

Earlier i was out on the bike, this bloke on this old looking bike looked at me, so I nodded, he looked at me vaguely.

Did i care? NO! i carried on riding.. I wont loose sleep over it.

Its no big deal, im not starting a fight, just expressing my opinion on this whole nodding thing.

take it easy!!! Karma

We are all Brothers in Arms.

We are at war with the cagers and our weapons are the powerful Middle Finger and the ability to remove wing mirrors Mr. Green

I agree. Its obvious what happens when you don't get a nob back, everything for it can make you feel better to bitching you feelings on an internet site.

I nod to everyone, litre bike to 50cc scooter. The bigger bikes will 9/10 give me a nod back and a smile even the big cruiser guys do. I always nod to scooters because I remember when I was on a scooter and getting a nod from a bigger bike just lifts your spirits. Most of the time I don't get nods back off the smaller bikes because I don't think they know what it means. But, I nod away anyway.

My uncle is the same. My uncle rides a huge 1400 suzuki (I can't remember what it is, but it's a cruiser) and he said he nods at everyone. He said he makes more effort to nod at the samer bike because he said it is great to see younger people back out on 2 wheels and you don't see it as much as when he was a teenager.

If the next biker i see doesn't wave to me I'm going to follow him home, make friends with him like Jim carrey does in the cable guy, go insane, set him up for a crime and kill his family and build a chair out of their bones.

Bastards!!!!!

I need validation!
