Post a pic and we'll be able to do a better job of labelling what it is etc.

Thats a ZX400 not a ZXR400

older bike than the ZXR400 possbley uses the ZX400D engine like the GPZ/GPX400 much slower than a ZXR400 and parts are hard to get.

I have some scans of an old issue of performance bikes, reviewing the zx4 with other 400's. Save and enlarge to view the text, it uses the same motor as my zxr400 and its plenty fast Mr. Green

Looks clean but dated IMO. Each to there own but a ZXR looks so much better. Thumbs Up

A mate had one in black a few years back and it was a pretty good bike. It's more of a sports tourer (a smaller version of the zx10)than a zxr but still good fun. Thumbs Up

I think its a nice bike. Does look a bit dated compered to these modern 6's, but personally that wouldnt bother me. Old = cool Cool

oh, and at £600 its a steal. I say stick with it. If you do get out bidded there will always be other bikes, or you could try and scrape together that extra bit of cash for a ZXR Razz
