Does anyone else keep getting these type of emails.

Its all bollocks since im not with barclays, ive also had similar emails from other banks supposedly. Rolling Eyes I use googlemail.

I haven't had them myself but that one looks dodgy. I dont think they send personal emails or ask for account information. Thumbs Up

best and easiest way to tell is to hover your mouse over any links that they give.

if it flash's up a different URL then the one that your floating over then it's an obvious fake


also make sure you have full header displays on your emails that you receive so that you know they're from genuine email adress servers

i just ignor them anyway, next time you log on you'll get a message to make you update things if its true anyhow!

All the internet banking systems I know of use a secure messaging system built into their website. I receive an email telling me I have new message, then have to log into the secure website to see it.

Any tat like this goes straight into my junkmail box anyway.

Ditto with HSBC.


And, the _only_ emails you will get from Banks, or paypal, are spam. Easiest way to tell if its legit, its trying to sell you something! Laughing
