1992 Honda CB450DX - Perfect hack bike/first bike.

Repost of my original ad which is on page 6 or something of this forum, and we aren't allowed bumpage anymore!

Basically selling my Honda CB450DX, its a 1992 J Plate.

I am only its 2nd owner, and it had a Full Honda service history up until 2000.
Which is when the original owner got ill and retired from biking and laid it up, he then died in 2004 and the bike got sold by his daugher to a small local dealer whom I bought it off in October 2005.

I bought the bike purely as a hack to replace my unreliable GPZ500.

This bike has been amazing for me, having done over 4,000 reliable miles on it, I am reluctant to sell her. But needs must as I can't afford to run two bikes, and its far too good a bike to let sit in my garage again.

Right down to the nitty gritty, the bike has done just under 24,500 miles, (verified by the service history), its also MOT'd and Taxed till October 2007.

Its also in average condition, though it needs a new seat cover as it has a few splits in it, and the tank is scratched from where I have been using a tank bag.

It has the usual corrosion associated with a bike of its age, but the main bits are all sound!

Rides well, and just serviced by myself, including new brake fluid, Oil and Filter, adjusted camchain, balancer chain and final drive chain.

Its got a Motad exhaust on it, and new shocks. The chain and sprockets were replaced in January.

Sorry to ramble on, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible.

Also I want about £500 ONO for her, at that price she is well worth it!

Sale only due to new bike! And I can't honestly afford to run both.
