hey, im a new member, from australia, but im pretty sure the bikes would be the same over there. im thinknig of buying a yamaha wr250f road trail bike, but all the pics i saw i couldnt get a shot from the top. do these sorts of bikes have dials to tell u the speed, revs and distance travelled?? an answer would be greatly appreciated!!!!Very Happy

If it's a road bike then by law it has to have a few dials, yes. Speed and milage are the legal ones i think.

others like mine have a didgy clocks

look up the "trail tech endurance"
which i have

Enduro bikes generally come in two flavours: a trail bike with enduro stickers and which usually have more refinements (like a rev counter and steering lock etc) and then you get your competition dirt bike which has been made road legal with the addition of as little equipment as possible, usually small lights and speedo with odo.

I'd have thought the WR falls more into the latter category but if you're looking at the 2007 model then this page https://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelfeatures/66/0/features.aspx says:

"Cool, digital enduro computer offers speedometer, clock, tripmeter, etc., in basic mode—or pace management functions such as timer, distance-compensating tripmeter, average speed, etc., when switched to race mode."

Nice looking bike.
