Did a quick google and found price for a car was about £20 so can't be much different for a bike. Depends on the dealer though.

To register alpha dot on my bike it cost £15.
From what i remember it didn't knock a huge amount off the insurance quote i got, can't remember exactly how much i was quoted without it, but i know its not a great deal less.
Sorry if that's a bit vage lol.

Well I was looking for a quote for a transalp for after my test...(sometime next year)....and it knocked off about £40 i think.
