Well, second actually. First one was on Friday up to work just having passed my test and fuelled on pure adrenaline, so that doesn't really count. Went up to visit a mate in Northumberland today, so did Durham up to almost Berwick then back down to the A69/A68 where I had a lot of fun until some twunt in a black Audi tried to take me out near Consett. Had a breather at Allensford before getting back on and heading home through Lanchester. All told, nearly 200 mile round-trip. COOL!!!

Excellent Thumbs Up

I would love to go on long trips, but don't know how my little 125 would cope. I have been through to my parents and friends, both of which are in Northumberland, which was a round trip of a massive 60 miles Whistle

You should take your camera with you and stop off at several places, and take loads of pictures.

Smile

That's a good idea, especially on days like today, when the views are spectacular up on the moors. That way I'll have a 'me and my bike' record, not just memories. Cheers for that Tricky! Have fun on your rides out...60 miles isn't too shabby on a 125!

My 125 stood upto a 120/130 mile ride easily, i did stop once or twice for a drink/cig but it could of easily gone none-stop.

I always have a camera with me at all times when I'm out and about. Before I had the bike I would take a little 20litre berghaus backpack out with me, to work or wherever, and I'd have one in there (along with my bait box etc).

Now that I've got the bike I just put one in the top box instead. It's no extra hassle for me to throw a camera in that weighs about 200grams.

And I take pictures of everything, all the time. They're great to look back at and go, "Oh yeah, I remember that." Smile

The original plan was to do a sort of personal diary of my motorbike trips. A picture here and there with a few words next to it etc.

Never got round to it yet Thumbs Up

Yeah.

It's all part of my 'Grand Master Plan' (cue evil laugh Twisted Evil )

No, I have a website and the diary thing was going to be part of it. So it would be split into months, or whatever, and I'd do a bit of writing, like a little story of where I'd been on one particular trip and accompany it with some photos of my travels.

Generally speaking I don't know how interesting people would find it, but I enjoy reading such things so sort of figured other people would as well Smile

Not for any commercial gain at all, just 'cos' Cool

I'll get round to it, er yeah ok.
