When my pc tries to boot up it comes up with boot disk error please insert system disk and press enter?

Can i have any advise in laymans terms please : =D

Oh and the only windows cd I have is the ones you make yourself on a differant machine when you but it from somewhere like pc world ?

Do you currently have a floppy disk in your A:\? Your BIOS might be set to look there for a boot disk.

No cds in or floppys the only thing in the USB is my remote sensor for mouse and keyboard.

It did this before and i pressed enter a load of times and it workd.

Sounds like you need your original Windows installation disk

Agree with Siggi. Try what he has suggested, and if that doesn't cure it take a look in the BIOS to make sure that the hard drive settings / boot order hasn't been screwed.
