Unlucky man. Try to contact them and tell them that you never recieved any notice that they required you to come to that appointment on the 23rd June. Tell them that your really want to join the army. You never know they might allow you 1 more chance.

if they wanted to talk about a previous discharge <sniggers into hand> were you enlisted before in the regulars or TA?
From my experience of army medicals they seem to have a law unto themsleves, seems whatever the doctor says goes.
if its some admin error on there part it'll be a right bastard to sort out (as the army never makes mistakes )
speak to the army careers NCOs dealing with your application good luck and stick at it
