Ratcliffe on here has/ had one, he's not on here too often but it might be worth dropping him a PM. From what I hear they're supposed to be a good bit of kit though, with the only real flaw being that the finish isn't quite up to usual BMW quality.

I honestly couldn't tell you, best to speak to someone who has one. However, as a simple single I can't see any engine work being expensive, and BMW's dealer aftersales service is known for being the best. The winner of Ride Magazines dealer of the year is almost always a Beemer dealer.

Being a beemer owner the servicing from the dealer is the best I have ever had, it's also the most expensive. Thats why I service my own bike now, the parts are not expensive its the labour. Shocked

Nah the F650CS is the Scarver....

I've seen early ones going for about £700, which may make it a bike I'd consider as a runaround... Thinking
