was wondering how often you have to repair these bikes? say you dont always thrash them but sometimes you give it some welly how many miles will it last before you have to rebuild it?

No idea, but does anyone else think Yamaha instead of Aprilia when they see RS125?

nope i allways think off aprilia , i know yamaha so an sr125 as i use 2 own one but i didnt think they made an rs125, they most prob did but must be a very old bike

There's no "prob" about it - it's the one in the picture. I didn't think 1983 was "very old", but I suppose it's older than most people who post here.

They used to specifying that you checked the rings every 6000km or so. And to do that properly means a top end engine strip at which point you may as well replace them.
